Finished!

I finished Lilith's pettiskirt the other night. I had taken a few days off because I discovered that I needed to hand gather and I did not want to do that. Anyway, I could have gotten it done in a day or so, but life got in the way. Oh well. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures taken on my phone. I'll take better pictures this weekend. I think she likes it...it twirls a lot! LOL

Lilith's pettiskirt

I finally got fabric ordered for the pettiskirt. And it was in the mail Saturday. I need to mess with my ruffler foot for a few, but I'm thinking about working on it this week. I can't wait to see it done and on her. Depending on how it turns out, she may just get that Minnie one before our trip in October. LOL I'll post pics when it's done. I hope she likes it.

Today was the Monthly Social for our MOMS Club group. It was the second time we did something with them. I think we both enjoyed ourselves. It's nice to meet some other moms. Lilith is still kind of shy and plays by herself. She'll make some new friends.

She's getting so big and brave! A couple of weeks ago, she decided to go down the biggest slide. She tried the swings, too, but got scared. And today, she went down the biggest slide again (and had me go down a couple of times, too) and also decided to some rock climbing. She climbed this rock a few times. Of course, mommy had to help her back down. One time, she kept saying, "Almost there. Almost there. Almost there." And once she got to the top, she yelled, "I did it!"

I can't believe she will be 3.5 on the 23rd. What shall we do for her half birthday this year?

I'll update again soon with what else that's been going on. Also, flickr is back up and running. I will work on getting pictures updated this week...whenever I can use the computer. Sorry it took us so long to renew it.
